Description

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification builds on your scuba skills and confidence from the Open Water course. It's not for advanced divers, but for those who want to explore more underwater activities and specialty certifications plus dive up to 30m deep!

You'll get to try a deep dive and learn about underwater navigation and pick up to 3 specialty dives. The second day includes a 2-tank boat dive in the Marine Park where you will learn about deep diving.

As a Reef Restoration organization our standard 3 specialty dives are Intro to Coral Reefs, Intro to Fish Identification, and Intro to Peak Performance Buoyancy. But we offer the Drift Diving, Natural Navigation, and Search & Recovery specialty dives if you prefer.

This course includes e-learning modules that are emailed to students after booking so they can study in advance of their course. If you already have a PADI course manual or e-learning for this course, please contact us prior to booking and we can deduct the cost of these course materials.

We run this 2 day course weekly 10:30am to 4pm Wednesday to Thursday. If you can't find a course that matches your availability, please contact us directly to see if we can accommodate you.

The Villa Blanca reef is shallow with a maximum depth of 6m with easy shore swim-up access. The boat dive is in the Cozumel Marine Park and up to 30m deep. Our meeting point on Day 1 is a short 10-minute taxi ride whether you are coming from Cozumel ferry terminal, downtown Cozumel or Puerto Maya cruise ship terminal; while the Marina on Day 2 is a 15-minute taxi ride.
