Ecology
Often found within shallow water on coral and rocky reefs. Juveniles are often around mangroves and and rocky areas. Adults eat crabs, fish, amphipods and worms
Description
Reaches 10 to 18 inches in length. Adults exhibit a body coloration ranging from silver to copper, with yellow fins and a blue line beneath the eye. Juveniles display pale bars along the back.
