Ecology
This species inhabits shallow water with depths between 20 and 80 feet. It is often found over turtle grass, reef flats, sand or rocky bottoms and around coral reefs. It schools in loose formations and occasionally with other fish of the same family. Bermuda Chub mainly feeds on brown algae.
Description
It has an uniformly gray to silver body with occasionally white blotches and yellow lines under eye from mouth to gill cover. Bermuda Chubs grow in size between one and two feet.
