Ecology
This species is found on dead corals, but it can also be found on live corals and other structures. The eggs are attached to the walls and the male part breeds the eggs and guard them until they hatch. Roughhead Blennys feed amphipods and copedods.
Description
Attains a maximum length of 1.5 inches. Displays a range of colors, including black, brown, tan, olive, yellow, and white. A small tuft is present above the eye, and brown and white speckles cover the head and body.
