Cozumel Coral Nursery Scuba Introduction Tour (with NGO)

Discover scuba diving while supporting coral restoration in Cozumel. This experience is perfect for first-time divers or certified divers looking for a refresher.

  • 40-minute intro session on coral reefs and the Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration Project

  • Discover Scuba Diving Course or Refresher Course if needed

  • 1 guided shore dive at our coral nursery and restoration site

  • Spot fish, invertebrates, and thriving corals

  • All scuba equipment included (BCD, regulator, mask, fins, tanks & weights)

  • Easy shore access—no boat required

  • Shallow reef (max 6 m / 20 ft)

  • All proceeds support coral restoration

 

Good to Know:

  • No prior scuba experience required

  • Must be medically fit for scuba diving

  • Great option before continuing to a PADI Open Water course (time and cost can be credited)

 

Location:
Easy access to Sand Dollar Sports, just a 10-minute taxi ride from downtown Cozumel, the ferry terminal, or Puerto Maya cruise port.

Please bring
  • Swim Suit 
  • Towel 
  • Long-sleeve T-shirt or rash guard. Do NOT wear sunscreen or skincare products prior to diving. Even 'reef safe" ones have non-biodegradable compounds that damage corals.
  • Reusable water bottle

Cancellation Policy​

  • Cancellations made at least one week in advance are eligible for a 50% refund of the tour cost.

  • Cancellations made one day prior, on the day of the course, or no-shows are not eligible for any refund.

Bad Weather Policy​

As Cozumel is an island, seasonal changes in wind direction can affect water activities, including scuba diving and snorkeling. During the winter months, when winds come from the north, northeast, or northwest and exceed 15 knots, the Harbor Master will close the port to all water activities in the interest of safety.

Cancellations due to weather are eligible for a full refund.
