PADI Open Water Diver

Service Description

The first scuba certification, becoming an Open Water Diver will give you the training to take deeper and cheaper dives. It is the prerequisite for all other diving certifications. We provide all the training and equipment you'll need for your dives in the scenic backdrop of our coral garden. With our ecological focus, you will gain additional knowledge learn more about the marine ecosystem you are exploring and how to safely interact with it. If you wish to take our PADI Coral Reef Conservation Course afterwards you can book our combined Open Water Diver + Coral Reef Conservation Course instead, so you can get both certifications in 5 consecutive days.

Cancellation Policy

As a small non-profit, please understand that the number of spaces we have and courses we can offer are limited. Short notice cancellations and rescheduling hurt our revenue and the restoration work it funds. We truly appreciate it when clients let us know if they can’t attend their booked courses as soon as possible. For cancellations/rescheduling requests made with less than a week's notice a $50 cancellation/rescheduling fee will be applied. Any cancellation made within 24 hours of a course start time is considered a last-minute cancellation and will not be refunded. The only exceptions are in the case of a medical emergency, in which case we will provide a refund if a doctor's note is provided. Weather Policy: Diving is most importantly about safety. When the North winds become too severe, the Cozumel harbormaster closes the port to all underwater activities, cancelling your dive. If the dive is canceled updates will be sent to participants via email or WhatsApp as soon as possible, with options provided to either reschedule your course or receive a refund.
